Old Fashioned Auction

By Jess Groves

A GOLDEN oldie at 365 Arden Street, South Coogee, sold for $50,000 above the reserve at a spirited auction on Wednesday.
Seven bidders fought for the original-condition property which was on a prize elevated block.
Agent Andrew Malouf of Ray White Maroubra | South Coogee said he was surprised by the sheer numbers of people that appeared at inspections, including a number of interstate buyers.
Local renovators paid $1.13 million.
The agent also sold a wide fronted semi at 104 Mons Ave Maroubra for $1.1 million.
“It was three bedrooms on one level and two off-street parking spaces, which is definitely a bonus.” Four bidders fought for the property.
