Over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend Ray White Maroubra became a part of the Million Dollar Club.
The Million Dollar Club is a part of the Gold Telethon to raise money for the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. This is an annual event that is broadcast on Channel 9 and is the major fundraiser for the hospital to help purchase life-saving equipment and fund vital research and services to help their patients.
This year Ray White Maroubra donated $500 and joined the Million Dollar Club for small businesses. The money raised from the Million Dollar Club will be used to help provide the hospital with a Smart Theater. This is a high-tech surgical theater which is able to allow surgeons to use the most advanced technology and techniques to help treat and diagnose illness, and in turn provide a faster recovery.
This year the telethon raised $4.02 million. We are extremely proud to be part of such a wonderful and worthy cause.
